The Old Southendian Association are pleased to invite you to join us for this year’s fun wine tasting and buffet. Savour tastes from artisan wine growers and makers from several of Italy’s favourite wine regions, with full tasting notes provided while laughing along with our humorous hosts for the 3rd year running, Jan and Ian Steel. While informative, this evening is always informal and lighthearted, and all levels of previous wine knowledge, or lack thereof, are welcome.

The return of the Chin-wag

  • Tuesday 23rd January 2024
  • 7 PM GMT

As many of you will remember we began quarterly “Chin-wags” for the OSA members during lockdown, enabling us to connect via Zoom, with friends old and new around the country and indeed around the world. In those dark times it was great to share memories with fellow Old Boys and Girls.

As we enter 2024, Andy Crow (Chair of the OSA Executive Committee) is re-booting this initiative which he created as President in 2020. The sessions will give Andy an opportunity to update you all on the Association and of course have some great chats in the breakout rooms.

If you would like to join the call please email Andy at and he will send you the invite link a couple of days beforehand.
