Old Southendian Local Business Networking

April 18, 2015
Following the previous Notification regarding the idea of ‘Old Southendian Local Business Networking’  the first meeting will be held on 29th April 2015 7pm - 9.00/9.30pm at the Thorpe Hall Golf Club.

As well as creating business relationships and referrals within the group, it is hoped that possibilities for further business referrals to a wider Old Southendian and School community audience can be developed. The plan would also include taking an active role in extending the growing Old Southendian connections with the School by linking business and education to develop both with such activities as:
  • work experience for students at the School; focusing the School on what businesses need by way of potential employees
  • sponsorships for the various activities which best portray the values that business members would wish to support, be they sports based or science, technology or communications etc.
At the present nothing exists in this space and the plan is exciting not just for the opportunity, but for the direction and focus that can be applied.

Any contact you may have with any ‘Old Boy’ working locally who may be interested please let them know.

Please email Clive Rowe … rowey1@live.co.uk  if you are going to attend or have any questions.
