The Golf Circle invites any Old Southendian, who enjoys playing golf in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, whether having a low or high handicap, to join and take part in a number of events, planned throughout the year.

Each year there are four golf days arranged between Spring and Autumn, one of which is a Guest Day, arranged on various courses either in Essex, Suffolk or Kent (in close proximity to A12/M11/M20/M25). The time to reach courses from the Southend-on-Sea area is restricted to about 75 minutes or thereabouts to ensure there is little inconvenience in too much travelling.

There is also an annual match against the School, usually arranged in July, held normally at the Thorpe Hall GC or Rochford Hundred GC. This match is played for the Headmaster's Trophy.

The Programme for 2015 is as follows:

Spring Meeting 10th April at Brett Vale GC

Guest Day Meeting 17th June at Burnham-on-Crouch GC

Summer Meeting 24th July at Toot Hill GC

Autumn Meeting 4th September at Colchester GC

The 2015 Captain is Kim Clarke.
